Carolyn Proctor  
     
  Carolyn Proctor has over twenty-five years of professional experience in advertising, graphic design, and public relations.  She is former restaurant editor for Las Vegas Style, and was the founding editor of the regional magazine Nevada Woman.  Her writing credits include articles published in Las Vegas Magazine, Las Vegas Style, Sunworld, Bride's, Best Read Guide, Jetsetters, Miami Metro Magazine, and HSMAI Marketing Review, and her erotic short stories have been published in a subscription-only magazine, Bonds of Enlightenment.  A two-year stint in the Peace Corps resulted in her first novel, Elisabeth Samson, Forbidden Bride (Joshua Tree Publishing, 2004).  Carolyn Proctor is an experienced public speaker and teaches through Educational Outreach at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.  In 1996, she was the recipient of the Greater Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Community Achievement award in Communications.  A graduate of Antioch University (Seattle campus), she lives at home in Las Vegas with her husband Cork Proctor, two Border Collies and three parakeets in various colors.
